We were glad we’d packed a good appetite when we came here, the servings are generous, all the food is delicious and you don’t want to leave. We had only chosen the area and as we drove slowly past all the possible options for dinner, the soft warm light and trees integrated into the courtyard seating made Mesostrato feel very inviting. We shared chicken souvlaki (though we were not expecting ham wrapped around the chicken), Greek salad, tzatziki (which had a bit more garlic in it than others we’ve had so were tasting that for a while into the night!), bread and house rose wine which was lovely.
Seeing the mums owning it in the kitchen, grown children serving and smiles all around made the meal very enjoyable knowing we were supporting a full family venture. We weren’t rushed even though it felt late for us, the decor is nautical, clean, elegant and we want the driftwood light art!
